Prof. Dr. Polat is internationally recognized for his leadership in liver, kidney, and pancreas transplantation, as well as advanced hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery. He has performed thousands of transplant procedures and played a key role in establishing and developing transplant programs in Turkey.
