DR. T. S. KLER

• Dr. Kler is a well-known and accomplished doctor in his field.
• He has performed more than 25,000 coronary, renal, carotid and peripheral angioplasties.
• He is a pioneer in electrophysiology and established the first dedicated electrophysiology department in India.
• He was the first doctor in India to implant ICD, CRT-P & CRT-D. He also performed India's first HIS package marshaling operation.
• He was instrumental in starting the RF ablation program and implanting heart devices in several Asian countries.
• He has been trained by more than 200 physicians from India and abroad in the field of interventional cardiology and electrophysiology.
• He is also a scientific advisor to several multinational companies such as Boston Scientific, Medtronic, St. Jude, all founded in the USA.
• He has been awarded with many awards;

Prominent being D.Sc (Honoris Causa) by Punjab University, Chandigarh, Lifetime achievement award by Indian Medical Association & above all Padma Bhushan by govt of India in 2005. In 2014, he was honoured with Delhi Medical Association Centenary Award. Received Times Health Care Achievers Awards in 2017 in the category "Legends of Medicine”.
