Prof. Dr. Onan is among Turkey’s foremost experts in robot-assisted and minimally invasive cardiac surgery, having introduced and expanded Da Vinci robotic heart surgery since 2013. He has successfully performed 600+ robotic cardiac procedures with a 98% success rate, particularly in mitral valve repair and congenital heart disease surgery.
